Intermediate/Advanced - Wednesday 8pm

Aerial Silks is tough! Probably the hardest of the aerial disciplines, it does take a certain amount of strength to get started - if you can already invert (get upside down) on pole or hoop, you've got a good starting point :)

Silks requires both strength and technical know how - remembering which way to wrap the silks in any sequence is very important! And once you've mastered a few basics, there are endless moves to be learnt using just a few techniques... so it's definitely worth the perseverence!

Students should wear leggings or joggers which cover the backs of the knees, and a t-shirt/vest which covers the waist. As you progress you will also need to cover the armpits for certain moves. This is to avoid friction burn from the material.

We don't have any beginners silks-only classes running at the moment, we recommend you take up a mixed aerial class to get you started.
